Originally crafted in the primitive times of 2004, Agitprops first Eastpoint release is the perfect documentation of a producer ahead of his time. Instead of sounding dated, the animated, intricate, eclectic tracks on Input STILL sound like the future of IDM.
One of the greatest things about Agitprop is the way he constantly changes musical styles, taking pride in coloring outside the lines of the already established music genres. The hauntingly beautiful strings that drive tracks such as the opener ‘Slumber In The city’ carelessly switch to a gritty robotic nature for the Opium Trade and Transparencies, creating a peaceful dreamscape (or nightmare, depending on your mood) to vibe to.
With Input, Agitprop shares with the listener an entirely new approach to not only to IDM, but to the entire realm of recording.
